Cary, NC, September 13, 2023 – Today we had the opportunity to host the USTA NC Kids Day and Wheel Serve Wheelchair Tennis Clinic in Cary. These were such awesome community events and we are so happy to partner with these great organizations. Thank you to everyone who came out and we hope to see you around CTP the rest of the week! 

Due to the weather, many matches were unable to be played today. However, 6 players completed their matches, including 3 qualifiers, and earned their spots in the round of 16. Pedro Vives Marcos defeated Elmar Ejupovic in a tight 3-set match ending at 6-2; 4-6; 6-2. Vives Marcos won 78% of his first serve points and will face Bernard Tomic in the next round. 

8 matches were unable to be completed due to the rain, so the start time for Wednesday has moved up. Matches will begin at noon, and we hope to see you there for a full day of tennis!
