Cary, NC, September 11, 2023 – 6 qualifiers earned their spots in the main draw of the Atlantic Tire Championships today, as well as players moving on to the round of 16.

Strong Kirchheimer defeated Alex Rybakov in a tight 3-set match to earn his spot in the main draw, with a final score of 6-7(2); 7-5; 7-6(3) after the 3-hour match. Kirchheimer won 74% of his first serve points and saved 70% of break points throughout the match. With 6 players qualifying today, the singles main draw is set.

Z. Svajda, T. Samuel, I. Marchenko, and C. Harrison all won their matches today and move on to the round of 16. Play will begin at 1pm tomorrow at Cary Tennis Park, we hope to see you there!
