Cary, NC, September 17, 2022 – There was a lot of action at Cary Tennis Park today as the Atlantic Tire Championships nears the end. In singles play, both the #1 and #2 seeds were upset in straight sets. 8th seed Dominik Koepfer defeated #1 seed Denis Kudla 7-6(5); 6-3. Koepfer made 71% of his first serves compared to the 53% made by Kudla. #7 seed Michael Mmoh cruised past #2 seed Jordan Thompson 6-3; 6-2. Mmoh saved 100% of his break points throughout the match.

In the doubles final, #1 seed Nathaniel Lammons and Jackson Winthrow had another close match where they defeated Treat Huey and J.P Smith 7-5; 2-6; 1-0(5). Lammons and Winthrow won 79% of their first serve points and are the 2022 Atlantic Tire Championships doubles champions.
