Cary, NC, September 14, 2022 – Tonight we had the privilege of having Abilities Tennis with us and 2 of their members, Sam and Carson competed in a two-game match. Sam won an incredibly close match 2-0 and the crowd was electric. We are so glad ATC had the opportunity to see these boys in action and learn more about this awesome organization!

In singles play, the #1, #5, and #8 seeds all advance to the next round and will compete in the quarterfinals at the end of the week. #1 seed, Denis Kudla, defeated Emilio Nava in a tight 3-set match 6-7(4); 6-1; 6-3 to end the night. #8 seed Dominik Koepfer, defeated Keegan Smith in another close match 1-6; 6-3; 6-2. Kudla and Koepfer both saved over 75% of breakpoints.

In doubles, Julian Cash and Henry Patten upset #3 seed Robert Galloway and Alex Lawson 6-3; 7-5. Cash and Patten saved 100% of their break points and won 81% of first-serve points. They will play in the quarterfinals at the end of the week.

Tournament play will resume tomorrow, September 15th at 3 pm at Cary Tennis Park.
